Reynolds Allinger ”Rennie”

Greece: February 26, 2018, at the age of 86. He is predeceased by his parents, Adolph and Frances Allinger; brother, Richard Allinger & son-in-law, Rick Hetzel. Reynolds is survived by his wife of 64 years, Marilyn Allinger; children, Donna Lynn Allinger, Terri Lee (Michael) Allinger Hetzel Travers & William J. (Laura Kunst) Allinger; grandchildren, Michelle (Greg) Veltz, Kenneth (Elizabeth) Hetzel, Casandra Allinger & Ryan Allinger; great-granddaughters, Ella & Ava.

Reynolds’s visitation will be held 4-7 PM on Friday at the funeral home, 1411 Vintage Lane (between Rte 390 & Long Pond Rd). His funeral service will be celebrated 10 AM on Saturday at the funeral home. Entombment in White Haven Memorial Park. Donations may be sent to the Pluta Cancer Center, 125 Red Creek Dr, Rochester, NY 14623 in Rennie’s memory.

Reynolds served his country in the US Army and after his service he was a member of the American Legion. He was a color imaging specialist for Eastman Kodak and retired after 39 years of service. He had a passion for photography, the outdoors and spending time at his cabin in West Almond, NY. Those outdoors activities included hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, kayaking, biking & cross country skiing. Marilyn and Rennie visited Florida every year during the winter and fondly recalls their time spent there. Indoor activities that he enjoyed were reading and watching the local sports teams, especially the Buffalo Bills and Syracuse Orangeman basketball.

Most importantly, Rennie will be remembered for his love of his family.
