Anne Maresh Sabocheck. Anne, Anka, or Mom, all the names she was known by was born in Oirent, Pennsylvania. She was born into a family of six children, her mom passed when she was very young. Anne was the last survivor of her family. Years later she met a handsome coal miner named John Sabocheck and the rest was history, her gorgeous turquoise blue eyes stopped him in his tracks! Wedding bells rang!! The next big event was the birth of their son Robert, followed by sons David and Gregory.
Anne loved to travel and did quite a bit of it with her family. She was also a hard-working woman who retired from Kodak after putting in 26 years without "ever taking a single day off." Anne loved sports, she was a dedicated Steelers fan and loyal to her hometown teams, the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Pittsburgh Pirates.
She was a devoted wife mother and friend to those who knew her well… but touch her John Deere tractor and you would pay the price! Anne loved her tractor and her riding mower. In her neighborhood they had a nickname for her, it was “Apple Annie.” She would ride her John Deere over to the apple orchard and pick apples for half the day. Towards the end she battled lymphoma like a true fighter. Sadly, the cancer took her from us on Easter Sunday. We love and miss you always MOM
