Obituary of Gary Michael Manzella

Gary Michael Manzella

Hilton: December 23, 2018, at the age of 64. Predeceased by his parents, Jerry & Shirley Manzella; sister, Nancy Manzella. He is survived by his son, Gary Manzella; daughter, Nicole (Sean Zalewski) Manzella; brother, Charles Manzella; sister, Diane (Rick) Soprano; nephew, Mick Soprano; several aunts, uncles & cousins.

Gary's life story will be shared during visitation, 2-6 pm on Sunday, December 30th at the funeral home, 1411 Vintage Lane. His funeral service will be celebrated 10:00 am on Monday at the funeral home. Interment in Falls Cemetery.

Gary was born July 20, 1954 in Albion NY to Jerry & Shirley Manzella. Gary had a passion for racing and trucking which started at a young age. He and his friends used to build mini bikes and race them in the fields behind the house. Gary, his brother, Chuck and their dad ran an excavating company together for years.

He was hardworking and an old school handshake kinda guy. Everyone that knew him, loved, adored & respected him. Gary had 2 children that were his entire world as he was theirs. His son, Gary, shares the racing passion and his daughter, Nicole, shares his kind heartedness.

Gary was such a kind, generous man, sometimes to a fault. He forgave often but would never forget. He was a perfectionist and a clean freak. Had a goofy, fireball side to him and loved to tell stories about his life experiences, reminiscing about anything and everything. Gary & Nicole’s friends called him, “Daddy Manzella”, he welcomed everyone into his life with open arms. He loved to water his lawn and took great pride in having the greenest lawn in the neighborhood.

Gary will be missed deeply by everyone that knew him
