After graduation from Jefferson High school he went to Clarkson University and earned a degree in Chemistry. For 39 years he worked for Eastman Kodak. Family was first – he organized the annual family picnic and Christmas party, and wrote a monthly family newsletter that was sent all over the world. He attended any activities he could for his nieces, nephews, grandchildren, whether it was a ball game, recital, graduation or theater production. He was never too busy for family. After retiring he went on to organizing his high school reunions, performing in local Theatre groups, volunteering at the George Eastman Museum as both a garden volunteer and a docent giving garden tours. His latest passion had been emceeing for the Oasis Tappers, his dancing girls.
