During their High School years they became sweethearts. Theirs is a love affair that spanned a lifetime. They were married for over 57 years after a 6 year courtship.

Spending time with family around the holidays was a joy to Shirley. She always looked forward to the holidays. Especially, when they were spending time with family at their cottage in Lyndonville, NY on Lake Ontario.

Shirley enjoyed cooking for family and friends. her specialties included making sauce, baked beans & her broccoli casserole. Shirley had a sweet tooth herself. There were always muffins, cookies, ice cream and her favorite black jelly beans & licorice nearby.

Shirley will be fondly remembered for her caring, loving way, selflessness & her generosity.

Shirley maintained strong religious beliefs. She regularly read her bible and watched TBN TV. She was truly a servant to her Lord.

She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.
